"Maybe there is no Heaven. Or maybe this is all pure gibberish—a product of the demented imagination of a lazy drunken hillbilly with a heart full of hate who has found a way to live out where the real winds blow—to sleep late, have fun, get wild, drink whisky, and drive fast on empty streets with nothing in mind except falling in love and not getting arrested . . . Res ipsa loquitur. Let the good times roll."

Stopped for a few days in Chicago on my way back to work. Great place! Stayed at the Hard Rock Hotel. Nice view of N. Michigan Ave in the heart of downtown. Below are a few of the pictures from the visit. Notice the giant pancakes from the Bongo Room. By far the most [...]

After a short, uneventful drive from Nashville we arrived in Memphis TN. We got in around dinner time. After some confusion with the hotel valet (yeah, we decided to live large) on where to park “The Beast” (to tall for their parking garage), they finally let me park it in the employee parking lot and [...]

Hatch Show Print was the first stop in Nashville, TN. This hand printing poster shop has been printing up posters and fliers since 1875. They have printed show posters in their distinct style for everyone from country music greats to Elvis Costello and everything in between. I had passed by their shop [...]

After leaving 245 miles from Brooklyn we finally made it into through MD, WV and into KY. We stayed the night out side of Lexington Kentucky. The next morning we had a quick, uneventful drive through downtown Lexington before heading an hour or so south and arriving at the Jim Beam Distillery. Jim Beam is [...]

Caught this variety show Thursday night at Joe’s Pub. Incredible fun. Each act had it’s own amazing qualities. I really liked the 500 Clown performance and the music of Dayna Kurtz. Kalki Hula Girl was an Australian hottie who hypnotized me with her gyrating hula hoops.

Featured artists included:
